Celtique Hôtel & Spa * * * * in Carnac
"La Maison Cardiec", a family business already established in Carnac, decided to build the Hotel Celtique in 1925.
Before the Second World War, two wings were added to the hotel, which were later occupied by the Germans.
30 years later, the son, Roland Cardiec, and his wife took over the Celtique.
When Roland died in 1985, his daughter, Rozenn Cardiec and her husband, Robert Huon, the current owners, decided to buy the hotel, demolish it and build a new one.
It re-opened in 1992 as the « BEST WESTERN Celtique » with a spa centre (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi) and treatment centre.
Over the next 10 years, the hotel was extended.
But it was in 2007 that the Breton spirit took over the hotel. It was completely refurbished over a period of 5 years.
The Restaurant & Bar were refurbished, the spa centre and pool were modernised.
Today the Celtique Hôtel & Spa * * * * in Carnac is a 4-star establishment open throughout the year, renowned for its Breton soul, architecture and modern Celtic decor.
